AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ARTICLES XI AND XlI OF ORDINANCE 771
OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, BY ELIMINATING DRY
CLEANING OPERATION IN C-1 (NEIGHBORHOOD
COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT, AND PERMITTING OPERATION
OF DRY CLEANING AND LAUNDRY ESTABLISHMENTS IN
C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Article XI of Ordinance 771 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, as amended, providing for uses permitted in C-1
(Neighborhood Commercial) District, be and the same is hereby amended
by eliminating therefrom dry cleaning establishments as a permitted use
within said District.
SECTION 2. That Article XII of Ordinance 771 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, as amended, providing for uses permitted in C-2
(General Commercial) District, be, and the same is hereby amended to
provide for the operation of dry cleaning and laundry establishments as
a permitted use.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of
A.D. 1964.
