AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING TO SAID CITY AND
MAKING A PART THEREOF THE EAST 250
FEET OF LOTS 1, 2, 3 and 4, AMENDED
PLAT OF DRUID PARK, AS THE SAME APPEARS
IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT
COURT, SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PUR-
SUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 1 71.04,
FLORIDA STATUTES, 1963.
WHEREAS, the City of Sanford, Florida heretofore adopted
Ordinance 839, which said ordinance declared the intention of said
City to annex to its corporate limits and to include therein the follow-
ing described property, to-wit:
The East 250 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Amended
Plat of Druid Park, as the same appears in the
office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Seminole
County, Florida,
at the expiration of thirty days from the date of the adoption of such
ordinance, all pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 171.04, Florida
Statutes, 1963, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 1 71.04,
Florida Statutes, 1963, no objection to such annexation was filed in
the Circuit Court, Seminole County, Florida within the time periods
provided and pursuant to the published notice thereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida deems it in the best interests of said City and the inhabitants
thereof that said property be annexed to said City,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
to-wit:
SECTION 1.
That the following described real property,
The East 250 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Amended
Plat of Druid Park, as the same appears in the
office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Seminole
County, Florida,
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of
Sanford, Florida pursuant to the terms of Chapter 1 71.04, Florida
Statutes, 1963.
SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective
the residents and property owners in the above described annexed
area shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities
as are from time to time granted to the property owners of the City of
Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter 1 71, Florida
Statutes, 1963, and shall further be subject to the responsibilities of
residence or ownership as may be from time to time determined by
the governing authority of the City of Sanford, Florida and the pro-
visions of said Chapter.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
