Re~ Legal Description of Seminole Community College
Please allow this letter to serve as our commitment to the City
of Sanford as follows:
In accordance with our application of June 29, 1989, we
would like to restate Seminole Community College's intention
to become a regular reclaimed water customer at Seminole
Community College in compliance with all City Rules
regarding reclaimed water.
We acknowledge that Seminole Community College would be a
primary beneficiary of the Reclaimed Water Service
Extension, that the City is investing in this project based
on that premise, and that it will become a regular reclaimed
water customer.
It is understood that service will allow for irrigation up
to at least 200 acres, as requested.
The Community College accepts financial responsibility for:
providing adequate backflow prevention; disconnecting from
irrigation wells; connecting to the reclaimed water
irrigation meter(s); and to pay an initial monthly access
fee of $3.25 and consumption charge of $.05 per thousand
gallons per meter, beginning one year after service begins.
(There is no charge for the first year.) Note: Charges are
subject to changes by the City Commission.
The Community College is aware that planning will commence upon
receipt of their agreement, and coordination will take place with
the Vice President's office.
This commitment will perpetually be in effect, and will be
binding upon any future owner(s) of the property.
This agreement can only be terminated by mutual consent.
