FOR
PROFESSIONAL AGRONOMIC & HORTICULTURE CONSULTING
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Sanford, Florida, a municipal corporation, hereinafler called
"City", whose mailing address is P.O. Box 1788, Sanford, Florida 32772-1788, and
Professional Agronomic & Horticultural Consulting Services, hereinat~er called "PACS,
INC." whose mailing address is 683 Post Oak Circle, Altamonte Springs, F1. 32701
desire to extend the agreement dated June 30, 2000, for rendering professional services
pertaining to golfcourse maintenance consulting at Mayfair Country Club.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4 of said agreement; City and PACS. INC.
desire to extend said agreement for twelve (12) months.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the sum of money hereinat~er set forth and
together with good and valuable considerations and the mutual benefits to be derived
therefore, the parties hereby agree that Sections 1,2, 3 and 4 he revised as follows:
1. Effective July 1, 2001 and bi-monthly thereafter PACS, INC. will or
monitor and evaluate overall ground maintenance activities as
described in the annual maintenance schedule submitted by Mayfair
Golf Course. This will inchde verifying all chemical treatments,
especially fertilizer applications and pesticide treatments etc., and
discussion with Mayfair staff of all problems and concerns observed
while touring the course. If unable to meet with Mayfair stafl~
PACS, INC. will submit recommendations to the City for forwarding
toMayfair.
2. Submit to the City Manager a detailed report covering observations
and any discussions that PACS, INC. may have had with Mayfair
staff including any action taken by them.
3. Total cost for this service for one year is $2,400.
4. This agreement shall become effective July 1, 2001. This is a one (1)
year agreement that may be extended each additional year if agreed
to by both parties. Either party may terminate this agreement by
giving a sixty (60) day written notice. Additional agreement
extensions may involve payment changes and/or other changes if
both parties are in agreement.
