HomeMy WebLinkAbout946-Land Design-Work Order 3 WORK ORDER NO. ..D AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES LAND DESIGN INNOVATIONS PROJECT: Historic District Survey Update CITY: Sanford, Florida CONTRACTED PROFESSIONAL: Land Design Innovations, Inc. Execution of Work Order Number ,3, by City, shall serve as authorization for the Consultant to provide professional services for the above project. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONSULTANT: Consultant shall provide said professional services pursuant to this Work Order and the attached scope of services, to conduct an update of the City's historic property survey. TIME FOR COMPLETION: The professional services authorized by this Work Order shall be completed by COMPENSATION: The fees for the professional services shall be performed on a lump sum basis not to exceed $13.750, without additional written approval from the City Manager. Page I of 2 REIMBURSABLES: LDI shall be reimbursed for direct cost expenses related to this project. These shall include, but are not limited to, film purchasing and developing, printing, plotting, photocopying, courier service, and express mail. Reimbursable expenses will be billed in addition to the service fees. These fees are not expected to exceed the amount of $1,000.00. Crc~,~, President Date: 12'/ [{/09D By: Date: Page2 of 2 CITY OF SANFORD SCOPE OF SERVICES HISTORIC PROPERTy SURVEY UPDATE Land Design Luaovadons, Inc. (If)l) would be honored to assist the Gty of Sanfon:l in reassessing the non-contributing buildings in both the residential and commercial historic districts. This study will include the preparation of Master Site File Forms/Smart Forms and attachments, and updating the SurveyRepon as needed. LDI will work di!igeady with staff to gather data and rehted information. LDI will be committed to meeting the project schedule to allow the p!ann~ng Depaxtment appropriate review time, prior to submittal to the State. The specific proposed tasks are identified below. Historic Property. Surveys The following tasks will be performed ia association with the conformiag/non-conformiag determination of 110 buildings located within the hlstodc district. l) Obtain a list and GIS map of the buildings ~o be surveyed. 2) Field visit to gather/update Master Site File information. 3) Photograph buildings. 4) For ~ach building, detenniae whether it should rermia "non-conforming'¥or if the status should be changed to "conforming." 5) Fill out a Srmm~orm for each building surveyed and prepare attachments (photos and maps). 6) Update the survey report ia accordance with State requirements. 7) Submit to City for review. 8) Submit to the State. The scope does not include updating master site files of contributing buildings or surveys of buildings outside the kistoric districts. However, LDI will be available to do these as additional services if requested bythe City. FEE SUMMARY LDI will update the site files for up to 110 buildings and will update the survey report for a lmnp sum of $13,750. Requested Services beyond those identified in the scope shall be performed only upon request at a rate identified in the attached Rate Schedule - Exhibit "A". Services not included in the scope include attendance to Board meetings, updating the City's GIS maps, or reviskiag district boundaries. [Nov. 10, 2003]
