Funding — $54,949.50 Change in Contract Time: 0 Days ITEM 3 Description of Change: Credit For Geotechnical Testing By City Instead of Contractor Reason for Change: The City used its geotechnical engineering consultants to supplement incomplete testing at the sewer manholes and to assist in developing an alternate construction method to provide stable and compact condition at the manholes, saving the Contractor the need to re- excavate and compact to full manhole depth. Change in Contract Price: Funding Source: Change Order#2 -final ($14,805.00) FDEP CWSRF Page 2 of 4 Change in Contract Time: ITEM 4 60 Days Description of Change: Time Extension Granted By City Reason for Change: There are a number of factors that necessitate a need to extend the contract time including extra paving and sodding, minor water main extensions, and additional pavement and pipe removal. Additionally, the Sanford area experienced abnormal rainfall amounts May and June 2005 (17.5" of rainfall occurred, normal rainfall amounts for these two months is 9.9 "). Acceptance of this Waiver constitutes an agreement between OWNER and CONTRACTOR that the Change Order represents an equitable adjustment to the Agreement and that CONTRACTOR shall waive all rights to file a Contract Claim or claim of any nature on this Change Order. Execution of this Change Order shall constitute CONTRACTOR's complete acceptance and satisfaction that it is entitled to no more costs or time (direct, indirect, impact, etc.) pursuant to this Change Order.
