R Wilson and ladies representing the Seminole County Welfare Department came before the Commission requesting that appropriation for the Welfare Department be provided in the.City Budget for 1925 and 1926. On motion duly seconded and passed the appropriation for this purpose was fixed at $1,500.00 Commissioner C JMarshall introdueed Resolution #239, entitled " A Resolution providing for an issue of Bonds by the City of.Sanfc'rd, Florida.in.the sum of Two Hundred and Twenty Four.Thousand Dollars, the proceeds derived from the Sale thereof to be used to finance in part the cost of certain street improvements assessed against privately owned property fronting and abutting said street improvements,,prescribing the form and condi- tions of said bonds to be so issued, and-providing for a sinking Fund for the payment of the Principal and Interest of said bonds." and moved that same be adopted. Said motion being duly seconded, prevailed by the unanimous vote of the City Commission . Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission announced that the Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida had unanimously passed-and adopted that certain resolution entitled: " A Reeolution providing for an issue of bonds by the City of Sanford, Florida is the earn of Two Hundred and Twenty four Thousand Dollars, the proceeds derived from the sale thereof to be used to finance in part the cost of certain street improvements assessed against privately owned property fronting and abutting said street improvement's assessed against privately owned property fronting and abutting said street improvements, prescribing the form and conditions of said bonds to be so issued, and providing for a sinking fund for the payment of the prin- cipal and interest of said bonds."
