CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA

The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida., met in adjourned
session at the City Hall in the City of 6anford, Florida, at 7:00 o'clock P.M.
February 17, 1941.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman who announced that the purpose of
the meeting was to confer with -r. Ed.C.Wright and Attorney Joe Lea of Ed C.Wright
& Company, St.Petersburg,Florida, with further reference to a modified plan for
refunding the balance of Sanf ord's unrefunded indebtedness, and to transact any other
business that may come before the Board.
Thereupon the Board proceeded to a lengthy discussion with Messrs Wright and
Lea.with respect to several proposals submitted both by Mr.Wright and the Commission,
final action being deferred, pending further consideration.
On motion of Commissioner Gut, seconded by Commissioner Higgins and carried,
the Commission next authorized the payment of $700.00 to Mrs Lou Bryan Puleston
to apply on the purchase of the following described property containing 80 acres
at a price of 425.00 per acre: The S E 1/4 of N E 1/4 of N 4 1/4 of N w 1/4 of
S.E. 1/4 of Section 6, Township 20 S. Range 31 East; also the S.W. 1/4 of N.W 1/4
(Less E. 420 ft. of N. 1020 ft.) of jection 5 Township 20 S.Range 31 E.
The purchase of this property having been authorized by the Commission at the

meeting of September 13, 1940, for the purpose of development of the proposed eviatio n
field.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
