!.J.Nelson, Attorney , next appeared on behalf of ':.C.Touchton and requested the Com-
mission to accept pe:yment of delirqu It taxes for the years 193e triru 1933 without accrued

Application next received from. J.1hlers, Oklaho:r,a City, Oklahoma, to purchase the
machinery at the concrete pipe plant.
Thereupon, in view of the fact that the City will be neeain tl -:is :yiechinery from
time to time for .:eking concrete pipe for its own use, it was the decision of the
Board that the concrete pipe machinery is not for sale.
Petition next received from the merchants and business men on Park Avenue requesting;
that angular parkin ' be continued on this street from Com:nerci el St. south to Second St.
instead of chrn�in:� it to parallel parking as requested at the last ;eeting.
Thereupon, after considerable discussion and in view of the fact that this change
in parking would reduce the number of parking spaces in this area, the Commission
ordered that engular parking of motor vehicles be continued on Park Ave. from
Co::.rr:crci 1. St. south to Second St.
Consideration next given to the enforcement of the one hour parking on the streets
in the rnein ousiness section.
Thereupon , after considerable discussion, Chief of Police ;'Iil'lisms was instructed
to enforce the one hour perking law during ;:usiness hours on First Street from Park

Avenue east to Sanford Avenue, and on Park Ave,from Com:r.ercinl Street south to Second Street.
The Clerk next advised the Commission that H L: ' atson had accepted the City's
offer of a tax credit in amount of $260.J') in payaient of ti -:e ,purchase of the L. 112 of
Lots 9 and 10 of Block 11 Chapman & Tucker's Addition, which %acs authorized at the meeting
of .:.arch 11, 1940.
On motion of Concuissierier HiC.' -7) s, seconde3 by Commission Rollins and carried, the
Commission next authorized the purchase fro.f. >�elter L Cooper of one Refunding Series "A" bond,
No. 2316, with coupons clue Sept 1, 1;40, e::� sucsequent coup;,ns attFch--d, at a price of
R' tD 50 and interest.
The Clerk next reported that sufficient funds are on mend in the 6-inking fund for the
purchase of 1;' ref,.:ndin- Series "A" bonds, end submitted quotations on bands from several
brokers.
Thereupon after comparing the prices submitted, Con::r.issioner Hi. -gins :roved that the
Clerk be authorized to purchase l Ref,_ ndin g Series "A" bonds from Be rcus, Kindred & Company
of Chicago, Ill. at a price of $262.50 and interest, same bei,-�-- the lowest quotation.
