The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session at the
Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida on July 25 at 1 :30 o'clock P,M .,1940.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Commission then proceeded to sit as a Tax Equalization Board in adjourned
session to further examine the 1940 tax roll as prepared by the Tax Assessor and to adjust
any inequalities that may be found to exist in the assessed valuations.

Thereupon, after a lengthy study and comparison of the assessed valuations of properties
with similar properties of equal value, the meeting adjourned until 7 :30 o'clock P.M. August
7, 1940.

The Commission then resolved itself into final session as a Tax Equalization Board to
act upon complaints registered as to assessed valuation for the year 1940 as well as any
other business which may come before it as an Equalization Board.
The following action was next taken with respect to complaints as to valuations
presented to the Board at its meetings of July 1st, and 16th. and other complaints filed
with the City Clerk since that time:
