CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, December 4 at 12:00 M 19 40
The City Commission of the City of 6anf ord, Florida, met in special session

at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:oo o'clock Noon, December 4, 1940
for the purpose of canvassing the election returns of the General Municipal Election
held on December 3, 1940-
Present: Commissioner Walter S. Coleman, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Thereupon the Commission proceeded to canvass the returns of the General Municipal
Election held on December 3, 1940 for the purpose of electing one City Commissioner for a
term of three years, commencing with the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January,
1941, as msde.by the Clerk and Inspectors of said election, said returns being as follows:

Thereupon Commissioner Rollins moved that the returns of the Clerk and Inspectors
of the General Municipal Election held December 3,1940 be accepted.
Seconded by Commissioner `gut and carried.
Thereupon W.C.Hill was certified as the regularly elected City Commissioner
of the City of Sanford, Florida, for the three year term commencing with the first
Tuesday after the first Monday in January 1941.
On motion duly carried, payment of $5.00 to each of the Inspectors and the
Clerk of the General Municipal Election held on December 3, 1940 was next approved,
after which the meeting adjourned.'
