The City Commission of the City of - enford, Florida, met in special session
at the City Hall in the City of = anfozd, Florida, at 12 o'Clock Noon, December 7, 19389
for the purpose of canvassing the election returns of the General Municipal Election
held December u, 1935.
Present: Commissioner Edward Hi�ins, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Thereupon the Commission proceeded to canvass the returns of the General
Municipal Election held on December c, 1135, far the purpose of electing two City
Commissioners for terms of three years each, commencing with the first Tuesday after
the first Monday in January , 1939, as arcade by the Clerk and Inspectors of said
election, said returns being as follows:
For City Commissioner - Group No. 1
For H. James Gut 152
For Sharon 1
,.For Mrs. I.V. Stringer 1
For City Commissioner - Group No. 2
For George E. Rollins 145
For henry McLaulin. 1
For H.B.Pope 1
Mutilated ballots thrown out 1
Total votes cast 159.
Thereupon Cofn :nissioner Lee moved that the returns of the Clerk and Inspectors of
the General Municipal Election held December n, 1935, be accepted.
Seconded by Commissioner Coleman and carried.
Thereupon H.James Gut and George E. Rollins were certified as the regularly
elected City Commissioners of the City of '.>anford, Florida, for three year terms each
commencing with the first Tuesday after the first vionday in January 1939.
On motion of Commissioner Coleman, seconded by Commissioner Lee and carried,
payment of $5.00 to each of the inspectors and the Clerk of the General Municipal
Election held on December 6th. 1935 was next authorized, after which the meeting
adj ogrned.
