The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida at ll:oo o'clock A.M.July 25, 1939.
Present: Commissioner Edward Higgins, Mayor.

City Clerk H N Sayer.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman who announed that the purpose of the
meeting was to confer with Mr. R.D.Ha.yes, representative of Johns - Manville with res-
pect to the purchase of water pipe with which to replace the water supply line from.
the wells to the water pumping station and reservoir.
The Board then proceeded to a lengthy discussion of the specifications as
to the sizes, quantity, classifications and types of water pipe to be used in making
this replacement.
Thereupon Commissioner Coleman moved that the Chairman and Commissioner Gut be
authorized to prepare the proper specifications for the aforesaid water pipe line,
and that notice be given that sealed bids will be received on same not later than
July 31, 1939•
Seconded by Commissioner Lodge and carried.
There being no further business the meeting then adjourned until 2 :oo
o'clock P.M. July 27, 1939•
