for the purpose of canvassing the election returns of the Goner
December 5, 1939•

Municipal Election held
In the absence of the Mayor, Commissioner Coleman was designated as Chairman
and took the Chair.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Thereupon the Commission proceeded to canvass the ret
Election held on December 5th. 1939 for the purpose of electing
terms of three years each, commencing with the first Tuesday of
January 1940, as made by the Clerk and Inspectors of said electi

Thereupon Commissioner Rollins moved that the returns

Seconded by Commissioner Gut and carried.
Thereupon Edward Higgins and M.J.Lodge were certified as the regularly elected
City Commissioners of the City of Sanford, Florida, for three year terms each, commencing with
the first Tuesday after the AUst Monday in January 1940.
On motion of Commissioner Rollins, seconded by Commissioner Gut and carried,
payment of $5.00 to each of the Inspectors and Clerk of the General Municipal Election
held on December 5, 1939 was neat authorized, after which the meeting adjourned.
