CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, January.r6th at 10 A.Y. 19 37_
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session at
the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 10 o'clock A.M. January 6, 1937.
Present: Commissioner Edward Higgins, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Chairman then announced that the purpose of the meeting was to confer with
Kenneth M. Keefe, and J.W.Shands, representing the City of Sanford Bondholders Protective
Committee, as to the present status of the proposed refunding of the City's bonded
indebtedness; also to consider steps necessary to be taken to expedite this matter to
the fullest extent.
Thereupon a careful study was given to the matter, as a result of which City
Attorney Wilson was issued instructions to proceed with drafting the proper bonding
resolution and take such other actions as is necessary in order to expedite the vali-
dation and execution of the refunding bonds as soon as it will be proper.
The meeting then adjourned to meet again at 7:30 o'clock P.M. January 7, 1937.
