CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, August 17 at 7:30 P M 19 37
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session at the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 7:30 O'clock P.M. August 17, 1937•
Present: Commissioner Edward Higgins, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Application then received from the Sinclair Refining Co. , by R.J. .Palmer, Agent
for permit to construct gasoline service station at the northwest corner of Eighth Street
and Park Avenue.
Action deferred pending further consideration.
Mr. H.B.Pope, Chairman of the Trailer Camp Committee of the Chamber of Commerce,
next presented tentative contract covering the financing of the proposed'Trijler Camp,
and after considerable study, same was referred back to the Committee for certain
alterations before being approved.
On motion duly carried the Commission next authorized the construction of 40
additional sanitary pit toilet units to be held for futgre use as needed.
The meeting then adjourned and immediately re— convened in adjourned session as
a Municipal Delinquent Tax Adjustment Board.
Thereupon further study was given to the methods to be followed in the adjustment
of taxes for 1933 and prior, also special assessments, after which the following adjust-
ments were authorized and approved:
Lot 4 Block 9 Tier 17 Seminole Park Taxes & Penalties , 1927 to 1933 55.33
ADJUSTED TO: $2 .00 cash and
- 15.55 payable with City of
Sanford bonds.
Lot 3 Block 9 Tier 17 Seminole Park Taxes & Penalties 1927 to 1933 27.67
ADJUSTED TO: $5.46 cash and
10.25 payable with City of
Sanford bonds.
Lot 4 Block S Tier 1, Sanford Taxes & Penalties, 1916,1917 & 1915 $150.05
• ADJUSTED TO: $1.50 cash and
71. payable with City of
Sanford bonds.
The meeting then adjourned.
