The City Commission of the City of _-'enford, Florida, met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in the City of 6anford, Florida., at 7:30 O'clock P.M. September 15,
1937

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Thereupon the Board resolved itself into adjourned session as a Tax Equalization
Board for the purpose of considering complaints registered as to assessed valuations
for the year 1937, as well as to adjust any inequalities that may be found on the
1937 tax roll as prepared by the Tax Assessor.
Thereupon the following action was taken with respect to complaints heretofore
filed with the City Clerk as required by the Charter:

In addition to the foregoing the Board ordered that the personal property
assessment against Chas. F. Vert, Jeweler , 202 E. First St., be increased to
$1000.00, after which the Commission adjourned as a Tax Equalization Board until
the meeting to be held September 27th. 1937, and then re- convened for the purpose
of hendling any other business which may come before it.
Thereupon further consideration was given to the preparation of the budget
of revenues and expenditures for the fiscal year 1937 -1935, after which the meeting
adjourned until 7:30 D!clock P.M., September 20, 1937.
