The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida , met in Adjourned Session
at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida, at 7:30 O'Clock P.M. February 29, 1932.
Present: Commissioner T.L.Dumas, (Mayor)

Absent: Commissioner C.A.Byrd.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Mr. Fred T.Williams then proceeded to give report on the obtaining of rights of way
for State Road No. 3 along the south shore of Lake Monroe, advising the Commission that
the following, with property located within the completed portion of the West Side Bulk-
head District had agreed to deed to the City approximately 50% of the filled land, includ-
ing right of way for State Road No. 3, in exchange for releasing of the bulkhead lien
against the entire parcel upon which lien has been filed.

Thereupon Commissioner Speer moved that the City accept the proposition of Messrs. Chase
Zachary and Tyler, as submitted by u'r, Williams, and that as soon as the deeds as outlined
in the proposition are presented to and accepted by the Commission., proper receipts be execut
releasing the bulkhead liens against the property of iglessrs Chase, Zachary and Tyler in the
West Side Bulkhead District.
Seconded by Commissioner Leffler and carried over the dissenting vote of Commissioner
Lehman.
The City Attorney was next instructed to draw up the necessary papers transferring
the right of way for State Road No. 3 along the south shore of Lake Monroe from the City
of Sanford to the State Road Department, clauses to be included in said document reserving
the right of the City to cross the proposed highway with railroad tracks where it adjoins
City owned property, and providing that if highway is not constructed, right of way is to
revert to the City.
The meeting then adjourned.
