CurT+ent invoices and payrolls f or-the month of February 1932 properly audited and vouohered by the Accounting Department, as evidenced by vouchers -Noe. 4206 through 4277 and No. 4292 submitted, examined, approved and payment ordered. Monthly reports of the Streets, Sanitation, Health, Water and Library Departments for the month of February; submitted and examined. Financial Statement and statement of revenues and expenditures during the month of February , submitted and examined. Bank statements in all accounts, properly reconciled, submitted and examined. Mr. R.A.Wilson, representing the Winn Lovett Grocery Co., next presented request for reduction of the 1931 taxes assessed against the W. 26 ft of Lots 3 and S and all of Lots 4,5,69 and 7 of Block 1, Tier S. due to the buildings on this property having been burned in October 1931. Commissioner Speer next moved that a vote of thanks and appreciation be extended to Mr. Fred T.Williams for his splendid work and untiring effrorts in securing deeds for right of way for State Road No. 3 along the South shore of Lake Mpnroe. Seconded by Commissioner Lehman and unanimously carried. Request next received from the Seminole Laundry for reduction in rate for water con- sumption when used in large quantities, and same was taken under consideration. On motion duly adopted, Superintendent Moughton was next instructed to re —roof the Yacht club building wherever necessary, all future repairs to this building to be taken care by the tenant. - Request next received from F.L.Woodruff for permit to remove three trees from parkway in front of house at the Southeast corner of First Street and Laurel Avenue, and same was On motion of Commissioner Leffler, seconded by Commissioner Lehman and carried, $100. ed. 1 U P� [I L 1 1 1 J 1 MINUTES -' CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, March 15 at 7:30 P M. 19--32 was ordered transferred from the Contingent Fund to the Aviation Field Appropriation, On motion of Commissioner Lehman, seconded by Commissioner Speer and carried $100.00 was ordered transferred from the Contingent Fund to the Engineering Appropriation. . 0 City Attorney Wilson was next instructed to notify the St. Johns River Transportaion Co. that unless satisfactory arrangements are made within thirty days, the dock and ware- house located on City property at the f cot of Myrtle Avenue will be condemned and removed. Commissioner Lehman next moved that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare Ordinance confirming action taken by the Commission by Resolution on April 29, 1930, placing a penalty of 10 per cent on all water bills not paid by their respective due dates. Seconded by Commissioner Leffler and unanimously carried. Instructions were next issued that the provision calling for the collection of a 10 per cent penalty on alliater bills when not paid by their respective due dates, be ad- hered to strictly. Commissioner Leffler next introduced Ordinance No. 203 entitled: ORDINANCE NO. 203. AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, OF MILK, CREAM, OR MILK PRODUCTS,AS DEFINED BY ORDINANCE NO 199 OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, PRODUCED OUTSIDE OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, UNLESS SAID MILK CREAM OR MILK PRODUCTS BE PASTEURIZED WITHIN SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, SUBJECT TO INSPECTION BY THE HEALTH OFFICER OF SAID CITY , AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 199, RELATING TO PASTEURIZATION, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE.M and same was placed on its first reading and read in full by the Clerk.
