CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA,_ April 23 at 5 O'Clock .19J1
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session at the
City Hall in Sanford, Florida , at Five O'Clock P.M. April 23, 1931.
Present: Commissioner T.L.Dumas, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Chairman then announced that the meeting had been called to consider the final
drafts of Bills approved at the adjourned meeting of April 15th. for passage by the State
Legislature at the present Session.
After reading of the various Bills, Commissioner Leffler moved that the Bill re-
lating to the enforcement of City taxes be published in full in the Sanford Herald.
Seconded by Commissioner Speer and carried.
Commissioner Speer then moved that a notice be published in close proximity to this
Bill advising the people that the City Commission and the Committee from the Chamber of
Commerce have worked diligently and carefully in the preparation of the Bills for passage
by the State Legislature particularly the one relating to the foreclosure of delinquent
taxes; that the Commission and Chamber of Commerece Committee are unanimous in the expression
of the desire that these bills be passed, and while this particular one is an important amend-
ment to the Charter, do not feel that referendum should be attached.
Seconded by Commission Lehman and unanimously carried.
The final drafts of the proposed bills were then approved, after which the meeting
adjourned.
