The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida , met in Adjourned Session
at the City Hall in Sanford Florida, at Three O'Clock P.M. August 12, 1931.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Chairman next announced that the purpose of this meeting was to consider
and act upon various complaints and objections presented to the City Commission sitting
as an Equalizing Board at the meeting of July 6th. as to assessed valuations for the
year 1931; also certain complaints presented subsequent to the meeting of July 6th.;
also to consider any other inequalities which may be found to exist in the 1931 tax
roll.
Thereupon, after due consideration and investigation, the following changes

were ordered made on the 1931 tax roll, all other valuations being considered equalized
and allowed to stand as originally set; all- property ownezg affected to be duly notified.$

The Clerk was next ordered to advertise in the newspaper that the City Commission
will hold its final session as an Equalizing Board for the year 1931, on Monday August 24th.
1931 at 7 :30 O'Clock P M.
Application next presented by Mr J J Abbott for permit to erect gasoline filling
station and bulk gasoline station on Lot 1 Blk 1 Tier 4, located on the S.W.Corner of
Park Avenue and Fulton Street.
Application for permit to erect bulk gasoline station at this location refused.
Application for permit to erect retail gasoline station at this location taken
under consideration pending recommendation from the City Planning Commission and receipt
of plans and specifications from Mr. Abbott showing the type of station anticipated to be
erected.
The meeting then adjourned.
