CITY COMMISSION; December FLORIDA, December 10, 12 M. 19 31
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida , met in Special session
at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida at 12 O'Clock Noon, December 10, 1931.
Present: Commissioner T.L.Dumas, Mayor.

City Clerk, F.S.Lamson
Absent: Commissioner V.A.Speer.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Chairman then announced that the purpose of the meeting was to consider
terms under which the Hotel Mayfair would be leased and also action to be taken on
purchase of State and County Tax Certificate against this property.
After thorough discussion of these matters , Mr H M Papworth, President of
the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce, was authorized to notify the owner of the
tax certificate that the City is not in position to handle at this time.
Action on the terms of lease of the Hotel was deferred.
The meeting then adjourned.
