1020301i _J 1 C 1 MINUTES CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, October 20 at 4 P.M. 19 30 The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Called Meeting at the City Hall in Sanford, Floirid.a, at 4 O'Clock P.M. October 20, 1930. Present: Commissioner H.J.Lehman, Mayor. " F.L.Miller an W. A. Leffler It V.A. Speer City Attorney, Fred R.Wilson City Clerk, F.S.Lamson Absent: Commissioner R.A.Newman Meeting called to order by the Chairman. The Chairman then announced that the meeting had been called for the purpose of completing the proposed revision of the occupational license tax ordinances. Thereupon, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare Ordinances for passage at s the next Regular Meeting of the City Commission embodying the following occupational license taxes, said occupational license taxes to be effective for the fiscal year beginning Oct 1. 1930: 273. Seconded by Commissioner Miller and carried. The Clerk next presented proposition submitted by W.Austin Smith, Consulting Engin- eer, of Jacksonville, concerning investigation and recommendation with a view to bettering t water supply of the City of Sanford, but no action was taken pending further donsideration. of the matter.
