The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned regular
Session at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida, at 7:30 O'Clock P.M. August 4, 1930.
Present: Commissioner H.J.Lehman, Mayor.

Absent: Commissioner W.A.Leffler.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
On motion of Commissioner Newman, seconded by Commissioner Miller and carried,
I.W.Thomas, Case No. 17127, convicted on a charge of driving a car while intoxicated,
was ordered released from jail under a suspended sentence and with the proviso that he
does not drive an automobile within the,City Limits until his sentence would have been
sexved.
The Commission next proceeded to sit in adjourned session as an Equalization
Board for the purpose of hearing any objections or complaints as to assessed valuations
for the year 1930.
Thereupon the following objections as to valuation were presented to the Equaliza-
tion Board:

Commissioner Speer next moved that the assessment Roll, as equalized, for the
year 1930, be accepted, and that the City Commission sitting as an Equalizing Board ad-
journ. .
Seconded by Commissioner Miller and carried.
The meeting then adjourned.
