CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA July 22 at 3 P M

The City Commission of the City of Sanford., Florida, met in adjourned
session at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida, at Three 0.10lock P.M. July 22, 1930.
Present: Commissioner H.J.Lehman, Mayor.

City Clerk, F.S.Lamson
Absent: Commissioner F.L.Miller.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman..
The Commission proceeded to a further consideration of the Budget for the
year 1930 -1931
Thereupon Commissioner Newman moved that the budget be adopted on the basis
arrived at to —wit:

Department of Publicity-------------- -- - --- 1600.00
Department of Debt Service------- - - - - -- .00

Department of Water Utility--------- --- --- 15,750.00
Seconded by Commissioner Speer and carried by the following vote:

Commissioner Speer next moved that the millage for the year 1930 be placed at
Twenty —two mills.
Seconded by Commissioner Newman and carried by the following vote

Commissioner Speer next moved that the operating expenses of the pater Depart-
ment be paid for entirely from the Water Department Revenues and that the net earnings of
the Water Department be diverted into the Debt Service Fund for the payment of Water Works
Bonds, interest and maturities.
Seconded by Commissioner Newman and carried by the following vote:

Commissioner Newman next moved that all interest hereafter paid by the Sanford
Gas Company on contract for the purchase of the Gas Plant be placed in a separate account to
be used for the payment of interest on Gas Bonds.
