Minutes of City Commission sitting in adjourned session as a Municipal Delinquent
Tax Adjustment Board , 7:30 P.M. Feb. 27, 1930.
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Adjourned
Session as a. Municipal Delinquent Tax Adjustment Board, at the City Hall in the
City of Sanford, Florida, at 7:30 O'clock P.I. February 27, 1936.
Present; Commissioner S.O.Shinholser, Acting Mayor.

Absent: Commissioner T.L.Dumas.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Thereupon the Chairman announced that the purpose of this meeting was to
formulate a method of procedute to be followed in handling the various applications
for delinquent tax adjustments which are expected to be received. Also ways and
means of stimulating interest by property owners in this method of settling taxes for
1933 end prior years and thereby place their property back on a current basis.
After careful consideration, during which it was brought out that the
continuance of this Board will depend to a large extent upon whether the citizens
avail themselves of this opportunity, the Clerk was instructed to give full publicity
to the fact that this Board is now ready to function, both through the newspaper
and by way of mailed notices to delinquent property owners.
