The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 4 O'C1ock P.M. March 27, 1935•
Present: Commissioner T.L Dumas, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Commissioner Lehman then introduced Resolution No. 471 and moved its passage and
adoption:
Seconded by Commissioner Shinholser and carried by the following vote of the
Commission:

Said Resolution No. 471 being in words and figures as follows:
A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING A BILL OF SALE FROM THE CITY OF SANFORD
FLORIDA, EXECUTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY, TO DOFNOS CORPORATION,
AS TRUSTEE FOR THE BONDHOLDERS' PROTECTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD FLORIDA
OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY TO SECURE AN INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, TO SAID BONDHOLDERS' PROTECTIVE COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, a municipal corporation, is justly indebted
to the BONDHOLDERS' PROTECTIVE C011MITTEE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, in the
sum of SIXTY -EIGHT HUNDRED ($6800.00) DOLLARS, and is desirous of securing the
payment thereof; AND,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Clerk of said City, by the direction of a majority
of the City Commissioners of said City, did, on the 27th day of March 1935, execute
and deliver to said DOFNOS CORPORATION, as Trustee as aforesaid, a bill of sale of
all of the goods and chattels and personal property now located in the MAYFAIR HOTEL,
on Block "E" of First Street Extension in the CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, as shown by
an inventory of said goods and chattels and personal property thereto attached and made
part thereof, as security for the aforesaid indebtedness, subject to the lease of the
MAYFAIR HOTEL to W.E.KIRCHOFF . JR.
NOW , THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA: That the execution by the Mayor and City Clerk of the CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, of the aforesaid bill of sale of the personal property above referred to to
DOFNOS CORPORATION, as Trustee for the BONDHOLDERS' PROTECTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD,FLORIDA, and delivery thereof as security for said indebtedness of
said CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, to said BONDHOLDERS' PROTECTIVE COMMITTEE in the
Sum of SIXTY EIGHT HUNDRED ( $6800.00) DOLLARS be and the same is hereby ratified
and confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
Passed and adopted this 27th day of March 1935.

The meeting then adjourned, the Commission leaving in a body to inspect
the property concerning which petition has been received from a group of West Side
fanners to have excluded from the City limits.
