The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Cal Conklin at
4:45 P.M.
Barbara Watson, representing the Cranberry House, was present and
submitted an Application for Certificate of Appropriateness to
paint the exterior of the building, at 108 Magnolia Avenue.
A discussion was held regarding selection of colors. Mrs. Watson
stated she had chosen the colors Gothic Rose and Farm House, but
would appreciate any suggestions from the Board. The Board
suggested a lighter shade. Mr. Welch recommended adding a third
color for enhancement. Mrs. Watson decided to select the Heritage
Colors Cottage Cream and Burgundy and /or Cranberry.
Jerry Mills moved to approve the Application for Certificate of
Appropriateness to paint the building with two or three colors
being the owners choice, using the Cottage Cream for the body of
the building, a dark cranberry or dark burgundy on the trim and
either a darker Cottage Cream or a very light burgundy for the
intermediate color, on the cornice line, window heads and sills.
Seconded by Monte Olinger and carried by unanimous vote.
As there was no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 5:25 P.M.
Respectfully submitted by: Penny L. Turner
