The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, !:yet in adjourned
session at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida at 1:30 P Li June 20, 1934.
Present: Corlrnissi oner W.A.Leffler, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Tdie Chairran then announced that the meeting was held to confer with a
Special Comriittee appointed to secure a site for the proposed Farriers' Exchange to
be located in Sanford, Messrs 7 -tei sch, A.R.Johnson, Fred Dorner and E . F. Housholder
being present to represent this Committee.
After careful consideration of the various sites viliich could be used for this
purpose, Commissioners Dumas moved that the City donate to the State Mar'-eting Board,
to be used as a site for the proposed Fariiersl E:r,change, the IJorth twenty acres of
that tract of land acquired frorl A.V.French through foreclosure of taz lien, lyin`
south and vest of the iritersaction of Thirteenth Street and Frecnh Avenue, the details
to be worked out between Cit;r Attorney 71ilson and Attorney General Landis for the
perfection of title.
Comrnissicner Lehrian then offered an amendment, whic'1 vmz accepted by Com-
m2sioner Dur_ -,L.S, that a paragraph be included in the deed of conveyance to the
effect that if upon failure of the property to be used for the �.)urpo -e for ti;?licI
it is donated, title is to revert to tile Cit -,
Motion, as atlended, .seconded by Co:_l.: issioner Speer and carried by the
unanimous vote of the Cornrlission.
