The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned
Session at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida, at 7:30 010lock P.N. July 20 1934.
Present: Commissioner T.L.Dumas

Absent: Commissioner T.A.Leffler, Mayor. _

In the absence of Mayor Leffler, and on motion of Commissioner Shinholser,
seconded by Commissioner Lehman, Commissioner Dumas took.the chair.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Clerk then presented the Preliminary Tax Roll of the City of Sanford,
Florida, for the year 1934•
Thereupon the Commission proceeded to sit as a Tax Zqualisation Board to
hear any complaints as to listing, valuation, or otherwise , on said roll.
Thereupon the following objections, in writing were read:

Thereupon said complaints were taken under consideration and the
Commission adjourned as Tax Squali$ation Board.
Request next received from L H Connelly, M.H.Haynes and Mr..Dodge represent-
ing the National Reemployment Bureau, that the City pay the cost of the telephone
used in the local office of this Bureau, all other expenses of said offioe having
been donated, other than salaries which are paid by the Government.
Matter taken under consideration pending a meeting of the full Board.
The meeting then adjourned.
