1015343io MINUTES CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, Adjourned meeting g4 Goer ,(:50P The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida, at 7:30 O'Clock P.M.October 15th, 1934. Present : Commissioner W.A.Leffler, Mayor, T.L.Dumas H.J.Lehman V.A.Speer S. 0. Shinholser City Clerk, F.S.Lamson Meeting called to order by the Chairman. Mrs. '17.L.Cooper and Mrs H.M . Papworth, representing the new Civic Committee of the Sanford Women's Club next advised the Commission of the formation of this Committee and offering their services in any way that they can be of help for the betterment of Sanford, The Commission was also advised that the first project of the Committee is "Better Water" and wrs urged to take necessary steps to improve the.Sanf ord water supply. Thereupon the ladies were thanked for their interest in the City's affairs and were assured that careful attention would be given to this ratter. Commissioner Speer next offered Resolution No. 458 and moved its passage and adoption. (4) All of the inco�.�e, revenue and profits derived by the City of Sanford, Florida, in the operation of its waterinorks plant in excess of the amount hereby appro- priated to the Department of ':Mater Utility, are hereby appropriated to interest upon bonds of said City issued to provide% money for the construction or improvement of said water plant, to —wit: those two certain issues of bonds of said City designated "Public Utility Bonds ", dated January 1st, 1924, and Improvement Bonds , Series 110011, dated July 1st, 1926, respectively. 7HEREAS, each and every item contained and set forth in said budget prepared by the City Clerk has been carefully considered by this Commission. THEREFORS, BE IT RESOLVED, that said budget as prepared and presented by the City Clerk to the City Commission be and the same is hereby adopted as the budget of the City of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning the first day of October , 19342 and ending the 30th day of September , 1935• BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon the collection of any revenues of said City the City Clerk shall allocate from each dollar collected and received the several amounts to the respective funds or purposes for which the same are hereby authorized and appropriated. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that this Resolution shall became effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
