CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, December 5 12 M. 19 34
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session
at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida, at 12 O'Clock Moon , December 5th. 1934, for
the purpose of canvassing the election returns of the Regular Election held December 4th.
1934.
Present': Commissioner W,A.Leffler, Mayor.
" T.L Dumas.
a S.O.Shinholser.
City Clerk F.S.Lamson
Absent: Commissioner H.J.Lehman
1. a V.A.Speer.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Chairman then announced that due to the inability of K.M McKinnon to serve as
Inspector of the Regular Election of December 4th. R.E.Betts had been appointed in his
place.
Action approved.
Thereupon the Commission proceeded to canvass the returns of the Regular Election
held on December 4th, 1934, as made by the Clerk and Inspectors of said Election, as
follows:
For City Commissioner:
For W.A.Leffler 117 votes

Total votes cast. 117
Thereupon Commissioner Dumas moved that the returns of the Clerk and Inspectors
of the General Election of December 4th. 1934, be accepted, and that W.A.Leffler,
be declared the regularly elected City Commissioner of the City of Sanford, Florida
for the three year term commencing the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January
1935•
Seconded by Commissioner Shinholser and carried.
Payment of $5.00 to each of the inspectors and the Clerk of the Regular Election
held on December 4th, 1934, was next approved,. after which the meeting adjourned.
