CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, October 41 9:30 A M 19-3-4-
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in called session,
at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida at 9:30 O'Clock A.M. October 4, 1934.
Present: Commissioner W.A.Leffler, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman
The Chairman then announced that the meeting had been called for further consideratial
of the 1934 -35 budget.
Thereupon Commissioner Shinholser offered Resolution No. 457 and moved its passage
and adoption.
Seconded by Commissioner Dumas and carried by the following vote of the Commission:

said resolution No. 457 being in words and figures as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 457.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, APPROPRIATING ANY
UNEXPENDED CASH SURPLUS ON HAND AT THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR 1933- 1934 TO THE DEPART-
MENT OF THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT OF SAID CITY, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1934 -1935, FOR USE
FOR THE ORDINARY PURPOSES AND OPERATING EXPENSES OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, deems it necessary,
expedient and for the best interests of said city that any unexpended cash surplus
as of September 30. 1934, of the revenues of said city for the fiscal year 1933 -1934 be
appropriated for the ordinary purposes and operating expenses of said city in the
budget for the fiscal year 1934 -1935:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida., that any unexpended cash surplus as of September 30, 1934, of the revenues of
said city for the fiscal year of 1933 - 1934 be and the same is hereby appropriated
to the Department of General Government of said city for the ordinary purposes and
operating expenses of said city for the fiscal year 1934 - 1935, and said cash surplus
shall be incorporated in the budget of revenues and expenditures of said city for said
fiscal year 1934- 1935 for the ordinary purposes and operating expenses of said city.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
Passed and adopted this 4th day of October 1934.
