An Ordinance Providing, '1hich of the Officers and
Employees of the City of Sanford Shall Give Bond for the Faithful
Performance of their Duties-as such Officers and Employees; Fixing
the Amount of such Bonds, and Providing for the Tind of Surety =Re-
quired on such Bonds, and Declaring the same to be an Emergency
Measure Necessary for the Usuai Daily Operation o_L the .anicipal
Government of the City of Sanford, Florida.
BE IT ENACTED BY ThE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF S.ANFOF�,
FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Ghe City Commissioners of the City c
Sanford, shall give bond to the City of Sanford in the sum of One hvuazsuu
(1000.00) Dollars; said bonds to be conditioned for the faithful per-
formance of their official duties.
Section 2: That the City Tanager of the City of Sanford
shall give bond to the City of Sanford in the sum of 1 "ive 111housand
($5000.00) Dollars; said bond to be conditioned for the faithful per-
formance of his official duties.
Section 3: That the City Clerk and Auditor and ex officio
Assessor of Taxes of the City of Sanford, shall give 'uond to the City
of Sanlord in the sum of Ten Thousand 010,000.00) Dollars; said bond to
be conditioned for the faithful performance of his official duties.
Section 4: ghat wie City Collector oz tire City- of
Sanford, snall give bond to the City of . lanford in the sum of `1'en Thousand
(410, 000.00) Dollars; said bond to be conditioned for tree faithful
performance of his official duties.
Section 5: That the launicipal Judge of the City of
Sanford, shall give bond to the City of Sanford, in the sum of One
Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars; said bond to be conditioned for the faith-
ful performance of his official duties.
Section 6: That the Chief of Police of the City of
Sanford, shall give bond to the City of Sanford in the sum of 'Twenty
Five Hundred (02500.00) Dollars; said bond to be conditioned .tor the
faithful perioniiance of his official duties.
Section 7: That the Secretary to the City Lianager of the
City of Samford, shall give bond to the City of Sanford in the sum of
One Illousand ( %1000.00) Dollars; said bona to 'be conditioned for the
faithful perforl-lance of his official duties.
Section 8: That the surety on each of said bonds shall
be a regularly accredited surety company, authorized to do business
under tine laws o z Florida.
Section 9: That this ordinance is declared to be an
emergency measure for the usual daily operation of the 1�111unicipal
Government of the City of Sanford, 110lorida, and shall take etfect from
and after the date of its passage.
Section 10: That this ordinance shall be published
once, within ten days after its final passage in a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Sanford, �ti'lorida.
