REGULAR MEEETING OF CITY COMMISSION

Commissioners, C. J. Ryan City Manager, G G Herring City Attorney. Absent S.O. Chase
City Commissioner.
Minutes last regular meeting read and approved.
Hon. E.. A. Douglass addressed the Commission relative to certain City Tax Sale Cer-
tifioates bearing irregular or incorrect descriptions,and requested that the Commission
authorize the cancellation of same.
The following resolution was introduced by H. R. Stevens, seconded by C.E. Henry:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CLERK OF THE CIRUUIT COURT TO CANCEL OF
RECORD CERTAIN TAX SALE CERTIFICATES OF THE CITY OF SANFORD FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, it has been made to appear to the satisfaction of the City Commission that
certain tax sale certificates have been paid but not cancelled; name1jr, Certifi s;te

1917; and:
WHEREAS,it has been made to appear to the satisfactions of the City Commission tha
other tax sale certificates now held by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Seminole Co
are void and of no effect by reason of insufficient and inadequate description of th
property intended to be identified and described by said oertificates,namely:
Certificates dated April 1,1913 #129 and #132; for 1911 taxes; Certificated dated
April 1 1914, #128 and #130;for 1912 taxes; Certificated dated April 1 ,1915 #143 and
146; for 1913 taxes; certificated dated April 1,1916 #276,'80,281 and 283; 1914 taxes
Certificated dated April 1 1917,#345,351,353,355; for 1915 taxes, Certifioates dated
April 1,1918, #341, 347, 348, 349, 352 and 355; for 1916 taxes, Certi ficated dated April 1,
1919,#373,377,378,379,380 and 383; for 1917 taxes; Certificates dated February 1 1920
#388,392,393,394,396 and 399 for 1918 taxess
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA' that the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Seminole County,Florida,be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to cancel of record the following named tax sale cer-
tif ioates of the City of Sanford, Florida, namely: rertifioate #415 dated July 3,1916;
Certificate #80,dated July 3,1516,Certificate #453,dated June 4,1917;Cert.ificates #
129 and 132,dated April 1,1913,Certificates #128 and 130,dated April 1 ,1914,Certific tes
#143,146 dated April 1 1915, Certificates #276,280,281 and 283,dated April 1,1916 oer-
tifioates #345,353,351 and 355, dated April 1 1917, Certificates #341,347,348,349,352
and 355,dated April 1 1918, Certificates #373,377,378,379,380,383,dated April 1,1919
Certificates #388,392,393,394,396 and 399,dated February 1,1920.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Commission of the City of
Sanford Florida,this 27th day of September A.D.1920
