is hereby called by* H. R. Stevens, Mayor to meet for the purpose of considering matters
of litigation pertaining to the Bulkhead Lion and compromising and adjustment there-

A resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Auditor and Clerk of the City "of
Sanford,Florida__to Cancel Certain of the outstanding certificates of indebtedness
and`liens against the property in the Bulkhead District of the City of Sanford, Florida
and authorizing the City Commission of the City of Sanford,to accept in lieu thereof o
certain notes and mortgages covering certain of the property in said Bulkhead District
AAd authorizing the Attorneys of the City to procure an order of the Judge of the Cir-
oult Court for Seminole County,Florida,dismissing oertain litigations now pending in
sanid Court, and de-claring'the same to be an emergency measure necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the publio property and for the welfare or the City of Sanford
Florida.
WHEREAS the City of Sanford is the holder of certificates of indebtedness cover
the following described preoperty in the City of Sanford,in the Bulkhead District of
said City.
Beginning at the intersection of the West line of Sanford Avenue with the Nor
line of Commercial Street,thenoe west 117 feet,thenoe north 38b.Ob feet to a point So �;

WHEREAS the City of Sanford is now undergoing expensive litigation in attempt -
ing to foreclose the aforementioned certificates of indebtedness on said property and,
WHEREAS the City Commission of the City of Sanford 4s informed that the present
owners of said property contemplate and' are planning valuable improvements and the ereo16-
tion of a large hotel and other buildings upon part of the above described property, whioh
improvement and buildings willgreatly,aad to the civic beauty of the City of Sanford,and
be a great benefit to the City, and,
WHEREAS THE CITY COMMISSION believing it for the best interests and welfare of
the City of Sanford,that the aforementioned litigation be compromised,adjusted and settle
amioably, and
WHEREAS a committee from the Chamber or Commerce of the City of Sanford Flori s,
has required the City Commission to settle said litigatiion,as a settlement thereof would be b
for the best interests of the City of Sanford,and
WHEREAS this is an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservatior o
of the public property of the City of Sanford,

tion 1 hereof.
SECTION 4 That the City of Sanford does hereby release And quitclaim unto the
Lakefront Improvement Company, s e6rporation, all of its right, title and interest in and
to the strip of land,lying between the water's edge of Lake Monroe and the following
described property in the City of Sanford, Seminole County, Florida, to -wit:

Minutes last regular meeting read and approved.
Petition from residents in the vicinity of Eighth Stand Myrtle Ave-
requesting-that street lights 'be installed at the intersection of Eighth St and Myrtle Ave and
Fifth St.and Elm Ave. On motion duly seoonded and passed the matter was referred to
the City Manager with instructions to put these lights in.
Mr A B Aldridge came before the Board asking that the City reimburse him for car -
tain work he had done. The matter was referred to the City Manager for investigation."

from Present Terminus of Sewer on Thirteenth Street West to an Alley between Park Ave.
and Oak Avenue and thence North in Said Alley two hundred fifty feet, and from its
Present Terminus in the Alley between Park Avenue and Oak Avenue South of Eleventh St.
South two hundred fifty feet,presoribing the size of Pipe to be used and Declaring
this to be an Emergency Measure for the Immediate Preservation of Public Health and
Safety.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1 That the sewer be extended from its present terminus in Thirteenth Street

Thence West with Ten Inch sewer to the alley between Park Avenue and Oak Avenue,theno
