REGULAR :MEETING OF CITY COMMISSION
MONDAY MAY 23, 1921
Meeting called to order by Mayor H R Stevens at 8 P. M. , present, H. R. Stevens
and C. E Henry, Commissioners, C. J.Ryan City Manager. Absent S. O. Chase, Commissioner.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
Petition signed by a number of Residents axed property owners on West Third St.
and Avacado Avenue relative to hard surfacing these streets was presented by Mr. L. E. Tow
and on motion was referred to the City Manager and the City Engineer for an investiga-
tion and report.
The
matter of
purchasing a
Fordror
City use was discussed and the matter gas re-
ferred to
the City
Manager with
power to
act.
At the request of certain tax payers the Auditor & Clerk was authorized to in-
struct the Clerk of the Circuit Court to accept settlement of the following City Tax
Certificates upon payment of the face of certificates plus costs and charges, omitting
the interest thereon.
