Meeting called to order by Mayor C E Henry at 8 P -11. .
Present: C E Henry, IJiayor, S 0 Chase and Forrest Lake , Commissioners,
C J Ryan, City I.Tanager.
Minutes of last Regular and Adjourned Meetings and Special Meeting of March
22nd. read and approved.
Communication from Mr G.A.DeCottes accepting appointment by the City Com-
mission as Special Counsel in the proposed Bond Issue now before the Commission
was read, accepted and filed.
Several communications fro: IJIr Geo A DeCottes, Special Counsel re the pro-
posed Bond Issue were read and ordered filed.
Communication from Geo G Herring tendering his resignation as City Attorney
was read and on motion the City Auditor & Clerk was instructed to write Mr
Herring and request him to reconsider and withdraw his resignation. This
motion was passed, Mr S 0 Chase and RIr C E Henry voting Aye, Mr Lake voting
Nay.
I' was moved by S 0 Chase and seconded by Forrest Lake that Mr Geo A De cottes
Special Counsel 11, be and he is hereby reapested and authorized to handle the matter of il
Proposed Charter Amendments now before the Commissions as outlined in petitions
filed with the City Commission, Ilarch 6th. 1922
The Auditor & Clerk was instructed to notify Mr DeCottes of this action.
Same was passed unanimously.
Communication from Idr C D Couch stating that he and his father Mr J Couch
did not reside in the City or own_ any perm nal property in the City during the
years 1919 and 1920, and asking that the assessment of the years be cancelled.
On motion duly passed the Auditor & Clerk was authorized to cancel same.
The following; warrants were read and approved and the Clerk aufthbriz6d
to.,dtaw checks to pay same.
