On motion duly seconded and passed,,the City I- Tanager was instructed to decorate the City buildings, and streetson May 27th. on accasion of the visit to our City of the Shriners, at an expense not to exceed ;75.00 Petition from a number of citizens re; changing alleys in blocks 1 - 1N 2IJ- 3N, Tiers 9 and 10, E.R.T-rafford's I1ap to run north and south instead of East and west was read and on motion duly passed the -City Engineer was instructed tb proceed iiith this survey. Petition from a number of citizens requesting the hard - surfacing of HAtghey Street from Park Ave. to French Ave. was read and ordered filed. Report of A- chitect, Trimble on certain building within the fire limits was read and the City Manager was instructed to see that his suggestions were carried out at once. The City Auditor & Clerk was instructed to authorize the Clerk of the. Circuit Court to accept settlement of the following City Tax Certificates on pay- ment of face, plus costs, omitting the interest thereon. " 253 - 476 Taxes of 1219 ", 131 - 301 The Auditor &, Clerk was authorized to cancel the Personal Taxes of Sheridan Jew(tt for the year 1921 - X8.50, Mr Jewitt not having lived in City that year. The Clerk reported that Notice of Bond Election and ordinances were duly posted by the huditor & Clerk in three public places -on April 11 and 12,1922, and also that in-formation to voters re, the Charter Almendments and the Ordinance covering s same were duly mailed to each name appearing on Registration roll., April 299,1922 Report of the Auditor &' Clerk for March read and accepted and filed.
