Meeting called for the purpose of considering the proposed amendments
to the City Charter as now being published in the Sanford Gerald as per min-
utes of April 10,1922
Meeting called to order by for, C R Henry.
Present: C E Henry, So 0 Chase, Forrest Lake, Commissioners, C.J.Ryan
City Manager, G G Herring, City Attorney.
Commissioners S 0 Chase introduced an ordinance entitled
" An Ordinanoe repealing, revoking and rescinding an ordinate adopted by the
City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 10th. day of April
A.D, &922, the same being Ordinance #29; Declaring the same to be an emergen•
oy measure, to take effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption."
QA,J- moved that same. be placed upon its first reading and read in full.
Said motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Forrest Pake. The question was
then put upon said motion which prevailed by unanimous vote of the City Com-
mission. Thereupon the ordinance was placed upon its first reading and read
in fall.
Commissfoner S 4 Chase then moved that the requirements of a second
reading of the foregoing ordinance at another regular meeting of the City
Commission, not less than one week from date hereof, shall be dispensed wit7a
by the unanimous vote of the City Commission.
Carried by the unanimous vote of the City Commission of the City of
Sanford Florida, this 3rd. of May A.D.1922
Commissioner Chase then introduced an ordinance entitled:
" An Ordinance emending Sections 7.97 1 3.64,206 and 207; and repealing Sec.
174 of Chapter 8361, Laws of Florida,1919, Entitled "An act to abolish the
present municipal Government of the City of Sanford, County of Seminole and
5t ate of Florida, and to organize, incorporate and'establieih a City Govern -
nent for the same, and prescribe the jurisdiction, powers and functions of
