'� � y . � �; �. :, �'� k �' F 'ti .. � , ^ m � �� . ,, . ,s r , f l °. �P ".�. � �; �,. :.. � ;m. j :� p, .4 t C . � C r ^,. � � M �; , 'b „iii ��e � i,, WHEREAS, in strie mp = d liance with the require nts -.of' law, the City Commiss- .. - sion of Sa , Florida, did, subsequent to t date of said election, pro- k ceed to canvass the returns of said election, and at said meeting did unanimous- ly adopt a resolution declaring the said election to be in favor of the adopt- ion, approval and confirmation of the ordinance aforesaid, and in favor of the is-' seance of the bonds aforesaid by the City of Sanford, Florida,, and WHEREAS, subsequently, by a decree and judgment of the Circuit Court of the -Seventh Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida, dated the 15th day of June A.D. 19,22, and duly entered and recorded on the'22nd. day of June g.D.1922, in dhancery 4r- der Book No.3, on Page 314, said bonds in the sum of $625,.000.00 to be issued by the Cityof Sanford, Florida, for the purposes provided for in the ordinance aforesaid were validated and confirmad4 which judgment and decree of the Circuit Court of the Seventh Judicial Circuit,of the State of Florida, is now in full.force and effect an unappealed, and,the propriety and finality of which judgment and decree since its rendition, has in no manner., been challenged -or questioned, and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, have determined of the $625,000.00 bond issue authorized as aforesaid, that at this time it is ex- pedient to only. issue bonds in the sume of $325,000.00 the proceeds derived fi**m the sale of the bonds of said issue to the amount'of $325,003.00 to be expended as fol- �. lows: V For building and constructing a Municipal Building for housing the Municipal Library of the City. $159000.00 For the extension of Park Avenue.-Northward into the waters of Lake Monroe, to enable the public to avail themselves of the right of commerce and transportation afforded by water, and to furnish the means of access over the highway by land to the highway by water for the use of the public, 679000.00 For the extension and enlargement Df the drainage and sewerage system of the City, 40,000.00 For funding and paying the outstanding floating indebted- ness of the City of Sanford.
