Communication from Mr$.G B Stringfellow and husband, read,and Mr M F Robinson, Mr.
Henry Malaulin and Judge E F Housholder addressed the Commission objecting to placing the
Municipal Library Building in any of the City Parks, after due discussion the Commission
appointed the following as a Committee to select several , what in their opinion won1b
b8 desirable and available locations for the building and to submit a report of sane to
the Commission at a Called Meeting of the Commission to be held Thursdag, January 4th,
1923 at 2:30 P.M.: Committee: M F Robinson, Henry Molaulin, B F Whitner; and the Clerk
`was instructed to notify the gentlemen of this appointment.
The contract of Messrs Donohoo & Guest for sewer construction *s per their bid ar
December. 11,1922 and a surety bond by the Southern Surety Co. of Jacksonville, in the,
sumof $13,300.00, being 501b of amount of said bid were presented and on motion, Com-
missioner Forrest Lake seconded by Commissioner S 0 Chase, and passed unanimously, same
was accepted and bond approved and the City Manager authorized to sign the Contract on the
part of the City of Sanford.
The following warrants were then read and approved, and the City Auditor and.
Clerk was authorized to draw checka in payment of same.
