After &M.&iWideration the follaering resolution was offered: RESOLUTION. -7 5�,_ WHEREAS, Caldwell &- ,Company, Nashville, T# m* are the highest and best bidders I for the Improvement Bonds of Sanford, Florida, amounting to approximately4,$300,000„00 dated as provided for in proceedings ; bearing interest at 6jo (six per cent) payable semi - annually, to mature as ppecified in their bid bearing date of Jen, 29 ,1923. STOW THE;EFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that said bonds be and the same are hereby awarded to said Caldwell & Company, and the Mayor and Clerk, are hereby authorized and directed to execute said bonds and when executed to deliver the same to said Caldwell & 06iiiXy in compliance with the terms of their said bid on file in the office of L , R , Philips, City Clerk. WHEREAS, Seotion 35 , phapter 8361, of the Laws of Florida, authorises the City Commission of the City of Sanford to appoint a City Attorney, who shall act as legal advisor to and attorney and counsellor for the Tlunioipality, and all of its officers, in matters relating to their official duties, and WHEREAS, this is an emergency measure neoessary for the usual daily operation of the Municipal Government of the City of Sanford. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMI66ION OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1, That J J Diokinson be, and he is hereby appointed City Attorney of the City of Sanford. Florida SECTION'2.
