Minutes of last Regular Meeting read and approved.
Committee on Charter revision came before the Commission and reported their
work about completed, after discussion the matter was referred back to Committee far
some,minor changes.
On-motion of Commissioner S 0 Chase, seconded by C J Marshall and unanimously
passed the City Manager was authorized to permit Mr Edw . Higgins to locate building
on East side-of Palmetto Ave. between Commercial & First Sts. ,in conformity with other
buildings now-on said street.
On motion of Commissioner S 0 Chase, seconded by Commissioner C J Marshall
and unanimously passed the City Physician, Dr. W T Langley was instructed to place Mrs.
L.A.Free in the Fernald - Lawton Hospital as a Charity patient.
Communication from S F Brengle & Son of Tampa Florida, proposing to move old
building now on Corner of Oak & Fifth St. to adjoining lot to make room for the pro-
posed Municipal Library Building for the Sum of $675.00 was read and the City Manager was
authorized to accept same and to proceed at once to have the building removed.
Communication from Mr C H Leffler re: Cemetery matters read and filed.
Communication from Inspector, G P Paxton Re: Building situated on Fourth
Street and alley between Sanford & Palmetto Ave. recommending the condemnation and removal
of same was read and the following resolution was offered:

Resolution condemning the buildi'Ilg situated on the nest end of Lot 7 Blk 5 Tr. 1, E.R.
Traffordis Map of Sanford, Florida, Declaring said building to be a nuisance, dangerous to
the Public Health and Safety, and requiring the owner of said building to bemove said
building within a period of thirty days from the passage of this resolution, or on his
failure or refusal so to do, directing the City Manager to have said building removed,
and to file a lien against the said property for the cost of said removal.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANFORD FLORIDA.
That, that certain building situated on the Xest11.eftdz6f: LvteT Blk7`5, Tier 1, E.R.Trafford'
Map, Sanford, Florida, be condemned as unsafe, unsightly and dangerous to the public healt
and welfare, and a public nuisance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the cw ner of the above described building be notified
by the City Manager of the City of Sanford, Florida, to remove said building within a
period of.Thirty days from the passage of this resolution, and upon the failure or
refusal of the owner of said building 'o remove the same within the time specified,
that the City Manager be authorized and directed to remove the said building at the ex-
pense of the owner thereof, and that a lien be filed on the said lot 7 Blk 5 Tier 1
E.R.Trafford's Map of Sanford, Florida, to pay for the cost of removing said building.
Passed by the unanimous vote of the City Commission this 23rd. day of April
