City Manager, F.T.Williams, City Engineer, George A DeCottes, Special Counsel.
Minutes of last Regular mePtir_g read and approved.
On motion duly seconded and unanimously passed by the Commission the City.Manager was
authorized upon receipt of Bond properly executed and approved to exeoute,and enter into
a contract for the City of Sanford with the interstate Contracting Co. for the construc-
tion_ of the Municipal Dock and Boat basin as per their bid accepted June 19,1923.
The Clerk was instructed to write the Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary & Kiwanis Clubs
requesting their suggestion relative to report of Engineer Jos.E.Craig on water supply etc.
The Clerk asked for a grant of a few days further time in which to complete the tax roll,
on motion same was granted.
The followi #g bills were read, approved and the Auditor U' Clerk authorized to draw checks

The construction of the asphalt pavement on "-anford Avenue
from Fifth Street south to Tenth .street, having been completed, and duly inspected by the
Commission , and the City Engineer having made his report that the improvement of said
porti�r_ of Sanford Avenue had been made in strict conformity with the plans and specifica-
tions therefor, on file in the office of the City Clerk, and a final estimate having been
prdpaped and submitted by the Asse.',sor, showing the actual cost of said pavement charge-
able to all property abutting upon said portion ,f Sanford Avenue, the completed paving of
Sanford Avenue from Fifth Street south to Tenth Street was finally accepted by the City
Commission and the final assessment roll as submitted by the Assessor,covering said pave-
ment, showing the actual cost of said pavement chargeable to all property abutting upon
said Avenue from Fifth treet south to Tenth titreet, wa7 approved and confirmed, and the
Clerk was ordered'and directed to publish a notice to all property owners owning property
on Sanford Avenue from fifth street south to Tenth Street, that the constructi.)r_ of the
asphalt pavement :,n said portion of san-Lo-rd Avenue had been finally adeepted and that
the final astie.,sments against abutting property on said portion ,f Sanford Avenue,as set
forth in said final special assessment roll were payable in full with)ut interest up to
July 27th,1923, and from and after said date, said special assessmenrs would be payable
only in ten equal annual installments wit_ interest at the rate of eight per centum per
annum on all deferred payments.
