Communication from the City Planning Committee Re: issuance of permits for filling stations, public garages etc, was read and referred to the City Attorney to draw suitable ordinance or resolution in accordance with the recommendations of the. Planning Commissiouvr, Communication from Rose Court Inc. On motion of Commissioner S 0 Chase, seconded by Commissioner C J Marshall, and passed unanimously; The City Manager was authorized to purchase suitable uniforms for the Police Force at the City's expense. Commissioner S 0 Chase introduced Resolution #101 entitled: "A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE WIDENING GRADING AND PAVING OF SIXTH STREET FROM MYRTLE AVENUE TO LAUREL AVENUE TO A WIDTH OF TWENTY FOUR FEET INSTEAD OF SIXTEEN FEET, AS HERETOFORE AUTHORIZED." Same was unanimously adopted. Commissioner S 0 Chase introduced Resolution #102, entitled: "A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE PAVING , RE- PAVING, HARD SURFACING AND RE- HARDSURFACING OF PALMETTO AVENUE A WIDTH OF TWENTY FOUR FEET FROM FIFTEENTH ST SOUTH TO CENTRAL STREET." Same was unanimously adopted Commissioner S 0 Chase intooduced Resolution #103, entitled: "A resolution requiring the widening, Grading and paving of Palmetto Ave. from Central Street to Hughey Street to a width of 24 feet instead of 16 feet, as heretofore authorized. " Same was unanimously adopted. Commissioner S 0 Chase introduced resolution #104, entitled: " A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE WIDENING,IGRADING AND PAVING OF CYPRESS AVENUE FROM' UNION AVENUE TO NINTH STREET TO A WIDTH OF TWENTY -FOUR FEET INSTEAD OF SIXTEEN FEET AS HERETOFORE AUTHORIZED." Same was unanimously adopted. Commissioner S 0 Chase introduced Resolution #105, entitled: " A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE WIDENING, GRADING AND PAVING OF NINTH STREET FROM CYPRESS AVENUE TO SAMFORD AVENUE TO A WIDTH OF TWENTY FOUR FEET INSTEAD OF SIXTEEN FEET, AS HERETOFRE AUTHORIZED." Same was unanimously adopted. Commissioner S 0 Chase introduced Resolution #106, entitled: " A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE WIDENING, GRADING AND PAVING OF SEVENTH STREET FROM MAGNOLIA AVENUE EAST TO PINE AVENUE TO A WIDTH OF TWENTY FOUR FEET, INSTEAD OF SIXTEEN FEET, AS HERETOFORE AUTHORIZED." Same was unanimously adopted. Commissioner S 0 Chase introduced Resolution #107, entitled.: " A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE WIDENING, GRADING AND PAVING OF COMMERCIAL STREET FROM PARK AVENUE EAST TO PALMETTO AVENUE, TO A WIDTH OF 40 FEET INSTEAD OF 16 ft. AS HERETOFORE AUTHORIZED."
