SPECIAL MEETING OF CITY COMMISSION
DECEMBER 5th. 1923. 12 0- 1clock
The Commission,met at 12 M. Wednesday December 5th. for the purpose of canvassing
the returns of the Municipal Election held Tuesday December 4th. 1923 for City Commission
Present: Commissioners Forrest Lake ( Mayor) and C J Marshall.
Canvass of returns showed total votes cast 43
For S 0 Chase 41
Mutilated ballots 2

Thereupon the Commissionedeclared Mr S 0 Chase elected to serve for a term of three
years from the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January 1924.
The City Clerk was instructed to furnish Mr Chase with a certificate of Election.
The meeting then adjourned.
