Minutes of last regular meeting read and approved.
MT T L Dumas Supt. A C L Ry. Co. came before the Commission in refererence to
blocking crossings, flying switches and widening Parking Space at Passenger Depot etc.
and after due considetation the matter was referred to the City Attorney for further
action.
Communication from Fred R Wilson presenting bill for drawing option Re: Nettie Ingrai
and J L Ingram Land purchase,and the Clerk was authorized to pay the same in the sum of
$10.00
Resolution # 122 was offered by Commissioner C J Marshall, entitled:
"1.A Resolution pisviding for the paving, re- paving hard surfacing and re- hard surfacing
of Sanford Ave. from Commercial Street North to Lake Monroe, and Seminole Boulevard from
Sanford, Ave. west to Palmetto Ave., a width of 40 feet."
ly �, and moved its adoption. Said Motion was duly seconded, and prevailed by the unanimous vo

the City Commission. Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission announced that the
City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida had unanimously passed and adopted that
certain resolution numbered #122 entitled:

"A Resolution /for the paving, re- paving, hard surfacing and re -hard surfacing of €nford
Ave. from Commercial Street north to Lake Monroe, and Seminole Boulevard from Sanford
Av,e. west to Palmetto Ave., a width of 40 feet.
Whereupon Commissioner C J Marshall offered Resolution #123, entitled:
"A Resolution providing for the paving, re- paving, hard surfacing and re -hard surfacing
Hood Ave. from Commercial Street, north to Seminole Boulevard, and Seminole Boulevard
from Palmetto Ave. west to Park Ave. a width of 40 feet.
and moved its adoption. Said motion was duly seconded, and prevailed by the unanimous
voted of the City Commission. Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission announced th
the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida had unanimously passed and adopted
that Certain resolution numbered 123 entitled:
"A resolution providing for the paving, re- paving, hard surfacing and re -hard surfacing
of Hood Ave. from Commercial Street North to Seminole Boulevard, and Seminole Boulevard
from Palmetto ."
Comm*04otion from Mr C H Leffler Re: paving of Third St. and Fourth St. between
Sanford Ave. and Cypress Ave. was read and the City Engineer was authorized to proceed
with the work on said streets at once.
Communication from Mrs A Simon was read and the Clerk instructed to reply to same
that there is no provision in law for a widow's exemption on street paving.
The pommission then proceeded as an Equalizing Board, to hear complaints or ob-
jections as to the proposed paving of the following streets:
Franklin Street From Sanford Ave. to park Ave.
Hughey Street I from Park Ave. to French Ave.
Magnolia
Avenue
from
Central Street to Franklin St.
Palmetto
Ave.

Communication from C W Zaring re: Condition of Laurel Ave read and the City
Engineer was authorized to take necessary steps to have Laurel Ave. paved from Commercial:;
Street to Sixth St. at once.

Thereupon Ordinance #73 entitled r
" An ordinance granting to the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Company, a corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Virginia, and doing business in
the.Sta'LV-af Florida, the right and privilege to build, construct maintain and operate
a railroad track to be known as an Industry Track on, over and along a certain portion
of Commercial Street in the City of Sanford, Seminole County, Florida."
was placed upon its second reading and read in gill. Upon the reading of said ordinance
the roll was called upon the queation of the adoption of said Ordinance.
Those voting in favor of the final passage and adoption of said ordinance were;
Commissioners Forrest Lake and C j Marshall.

Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
announced that the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, by unanimous vote
had passed and adopted that certain ordinance entitled:
"An ordinance granting to the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Company a Corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Virginias and doing business
in the State of Florida, the right and privilege to build, construct, maintain and
operate a railroad track to be known as an Industry Track on, over and along a certain
portion of Commercial Street in the City of Sanford, Seminole County, Florida."
The Clerk was directed to write the City Park Commission and request them to sub-
mit plans for approval by the City Commission on eighteen hole Golf Course before /
expenditures are made.
