Communication from property owners on East Fourth Street requesting that same be paved from Locust Ave. to Mellonville AWe. a width of 24 feet- with Finley Method. Oh motion duly adopted the Clerk was instructed to.writs petitioners wthat it is not the policy of the Commission to pave may of the principal streets in the heart of the City except with sheet asphalt on rook base. The Commission will be pleased to proceed to pave said street in this way. The Equalising Board ( composed of the City Commission ) then - proceed to hear nom-- plaints er objections s if says as to the proposed paving of the following.streets: Cypges+s Avenue' Fousiteenth street Fiurtesath Btareet High street Oak AV# Plumose. Drive Valencia street - From Fourteenth Street to Valencia Street, From Sanford Ave. east 1060 feet. From Magnolia Ave. to Oak Ave. From Park Ave. to French Ave. From Thirteenth Strest to High Street. From'Sanford Ave. East 1060 feet. From Cypress Ave. east 1060 feet. There being no complaints or objections offered, the City Engineer was instructed to pressed with construction of said paving, and the assessments against said streets were declared equalised and confirmed. Upon request of Mr Fred T Williams, the Commission instructed the Clerk to to- serve Lot 27 See. G. of the Municipal Cemetery for the burial of Veterans of 011. On motion duly passed, the City Tax Collector was authorised to cancel all licenses Issued to the South Eastern Sales Company for operating Tending machines, upon return of said lioenses to the Tax Colleotots office and refund the amount paid for same. The Clerk was authorised to cancel the Personal Taxes for 1924 assessed against Mrs Emma Holtzclaw, amount $5.40, it appearing -that said Mrs Holtsolaw_i,s a widow, and being entitled to a widow's exemption in the sum of $500.00 valuation.
