Minutes of last regular , adjourned and special meetings read and approved.
Comnissioner E F Housholder introduced Resolution ~335 entitled:
"A Resolution providing for the paving, re-paving, hard surfacing and re-hard surfacing
of Virginia Ave.from Seminole Boulevard South to Eighth St. , a width of 2~ feet."
and moved that same be adopted.
By the affirmative vote of the Commissioners said resolution was unanimously adopted.
Commissioner E F Housholder then introduced Resolution ~336, entitled:
"A Resolution providing for the paving, re-paving , hard surfacing and re-hard surfacing
of Union Ave., Fourth St. and Eight St. between Scott Ave. and Virginia Ave. a width of
24 feet."
and moved that same be adopted.
By the affirmative vote of the Commissioners, said resolution was unanimously adopted.
Commissioner E F Housholder then introduced Resolution ~338, entitled:
"A Resolution requiring the widening, grading and paving of State Road No. 3 from Katie
Street south and southwesterly to the City Limits, to a width of 30 feet. instead of 18
feet, as heretofore authorized."
and moved that same be adopted.
By the affirmative vote of the Commissioners said resolution was unanimously adopted.
Commissioner E F Housholder then introduced Resolution ~339, entitled:
"A Resolution providing for an issue of bonds by the City of Sanford, Florida in the sum
of Four Hm~red Seventy Thousand Dollars, the proceeds derived from the sale thereof to
be used to finance in part the cost of certain street improvements assessed against pri-
vately owned property fronting and abutting said street improvements, prescribing the
form and conditions of said bonds to be so issued and providing for a sinkin~ fund for the
payment of the principal and interest of said bonds."
and moved its adoption, and by the affirmative vote of the Commissions , said resolution
was unanimously adopted.
The City Co~nission then proceeded as an Equalizing Board to hear any complaints
or objections that might be offered as to the proposed paving of the following streets
in the City of Sanford, Florida.
Under Resolution ~332 - Palmetto Ave. from Geneva St. to Woodruff Street.
Under Resolution ~332 - ~o&druff Stree~ from Palmetto ~ve. to Sanford Ave.
Under Resolution ~333 - ~ird St.from Avacado Ave. to Persi~m~on Ave.
Under Resolution ~333 - Persimmon Ave. from Third.~ St. to
There being no complaints or objections offered,
merits equalized, adjusted and confirmed.

and Persimmon Ave. requestir~ that gravel top instead of asphalt be used,on these streets
was read, and on motion duly adopted the City Engineer was authorized to do so.
